ParticipantRe: Worriedabout ny new dishwasher Borsch SRS55L22GB
Hi
You could try switching from the default “Normal” drying to the “Intensive” drying cycle.
This is achieved by holding the third button from the left down whilst you switch appliance on with on/off switch.
The display should now show 0. If you now release and press the same button again it should change to a 1 indicating that intensive dry has been chosen.Switch off appliance the setting will now be stored and the drying temperature will be raised slightly. You should notice a better drying performance now (except quick wash of course)Greg

ParticipantRe: Another joke.
A teacher asks her class to use the word “contagious”.
Roland the teacher’s pet, gets up and says, “Last year I got the measles and my mum said it was contagious.”
“Well done, Roland,” says the teacher. “Can anyone else try?”
Katie, a sweet little girl with pigtails, says, “My grandma says there’s a
bug going round, and it’s contagious.”
“Well done, Katie,” says the teacher. “Anyone else?”
Little Irish Sean jumps up and says in a broad Dublin accent, “Our next door neighbour is painting his house with a 2 inch brush, and my dad says it will take the contagious.” 😆Greg

ParticipantRe: Bosch wfl2000uk/01 – Flashing “active” light
Hi
That fault indiactes that the fill is taking longer than 6 minutes, and the pcb is timing out.
If you have low water pressure or a kinked hose this may occur.
If you press “Start” again it will fill again and may attain level to continue, if you cannot rectify low water problem.Greg

ParticipantRe: Bosch WFL2450 – drum won’t turn
Hi
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … pic&t=4359If you are unsure, of where to measure from then I would just remove the brushes and inspect, they are approx 1.5 inch in length when new. If they are much lower than that then follow P45s guide to spares 😉
Unplug appliance if you are to investigate :plug:Greg

Hi
Does sound like module IMHO 😥
How old is it? If its around its 2 year purchase date then it may be worth contacting BSH themselves whom at their discretion may aid you in some way towards the repair 😀

Hi
There is a kit that has two reed relay PCB’s in it (you choose the one you have fitted) part no 4812 310 19147.
This kit is available from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.ukGreg

ParticipantRe: Washer Dryer filling with water when off!
Hi
I would guess as this is a new machine that it is probably waste water from the sink due to the drain hose at the sink end being too low and in need of being raised in order to give a resistence to the sink water when that is drained.
You can also get a fill valve/s that haven’t fully closed causing a similar fault.
The water that fills up in that instance in the drum tends to be clear.
To eliminate if it is the fill valve/s try turning them off in turn, if the drum doesn’t fill up over a period then its not a weeping valve/s.HTH

Hi
When you say filling and emptying constantly do you mean it fills sloshes around for a long time then drains eventually but does not go into spin?Greg

ParticipantRe: bosch washer trouble
Hi
It sounds possibly that the module has failed IMHO, if its draining constantly on any programme 😕
I can’t see it syphoning but you could check how far the drain hose goes down your waste pipe (app 1ft is enough)Greg
