Tycoon guns for Arsenal
Richard Wachman, city editor
Sunday April 22, 2007
The Observer
Stan Kroenke, the American sporting tycoon, is plotting a £650m takeover of Arsenal, calling in JP Morgan for advice and possible financial support. JP Morgan also helped to bankroll Malcolm Glazer’s successful bid for Manchester United two years ago.
Kroenke’s move comes as well-placed City sources say that at least four other top clubs are being targeted by American billionaires as part of a trend that could see half of the Premiership in US hands by the end of the year. Takeover targets include Manchester City, Newcastle, Reading and Fulham. Aston Villa and Liverpool are already in American hands.Football clubs have become attractive investments due to rocketing revenue from overseas media sales which have increased from £150m to £650m in seven years for the Premiership as a whole.
It is understood that Kroenke is planning to drive a wedge between the director-shareholders of Arsenal who together speak for 45 per cent of Arsenal’s equity, but some of whom appear reluctant to sell. Nevertheless, Kroenke believes that Arsenal’s biggest single stockholder, director Danny Fiszman with more than 24 per cent, could be persuaded to cut his stake. Fiszman recently sold the American a small parcel of shares. On Friday, Kroenke upped his stake in the club to 12 per cent. Arsenal is valued on the stockmarket at over £400m, but it also has £250m of debt.An investment banker said: ‘What I see here is a repeat of what happened at Manchester United when the Glazer family were able to vote off directors from the Man United board and disrupt the running of the club until key shareholders eventually agreed to sell.’

Hi
Manual setting (normal use) in respect of timer setting (remote cooking start and end).
You will have to check your manual as I am not familiar with your oven.
The clocks on most ovens have the same function more or less hence my comment 🙂The grill and top oven work but the main oven
does not.
Check that the time of day has been set on the clock.
Check that the oven is set for manual cooking.Greg
