Re: Blank LCD Bosch Logixx WFR3268

Never changed an LCD panel on any Bosch TBH.
I would summise faulty display module (424675) and/or faulty main module (491974)
If I was a betting man, I would go with display module 😉
An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will supply you with either module 🙂

Power off if you are to attempt any repair :plug:

If in any doubts, ask before doing any work; is there a cheque/cash for me on completion.
If the answer is NO then walk, surely 😀

Re: Bosch SGV43E03GB/16 fills then drains, won’t run a prog

    Hi
Apologies, yours doesn’t have the metering unit and the water matrix isn’t problematic on yours 🙂

Most probable cause is the impeller jug (flow meter)
These have a stupid failure rate 😡

Re: Bosch WFL 2450 program not advancing???

    Hi
When you say manually advance, do you turn selector to 12 oclock (off pos) and then re select rinse?
Does it heat in the wash? (feel the glass during wash cycle )

You are on the right lines becsom. I take it that was the ribbed hose from the sump to metering unit on the lhs?
If you remove the l/h panel and look at the water matrix and the metering unit, Im sure there will be signs of crud build up.
Changing those two parts, if crud visible should sort you out.
This usually occurs due to food debris off plates being spattered around.
A quick swish under tap of crocks before loading will reduce this problem in the future 😉

Power off before attempting removing that panel or any work on appliance :plug:

Re: Bosch KGU3201BG Fridge Freezer – Freezer Temp Fluctuate

Are the products in the freezer solid?
If so it may just be that the NTC sensor is going out of tolerance giving you a false reading.

You could also try a 48 hour period with the appliance switched off, just to start the frost free off on an even keel. Frost free’s do occasionally get the defrost wrong and eventually get to a point of no return and need a manual defrost (switched off).

It looks as if the child lock is on.
To remove it, close door, select any prog and then hold the start button in for 4 secs.

I would agree with Don, the new Samsung RSH range are a superb piece of kit for the money along with full engineer back up; should the need arise. 😀

Re: siemens w/m lights on but no go

    Hi
If its doing that it relates to the analogue sensor being out of its operating range or connection from it to the module missing.
If required its 182238 £23.69 + the usual.
As if you didn’t know, they don’t click when you blow down them. Usually doing this results in permanent damage to the little guy 😀
