ParticipantRe: Neff V4380X0GB/13
Just to add….
If the machine has any power interruption during its cycle (customer switching it on and off), then the electronics restarts at the beginning of the stage during which it was interrupted.Greg

Hi Steve
It sounds like a module fault IMHO, without physically checking, it would have to a guess 🙂Greg

Hi Geoff
Not a problematic machine TBH.
Ignoring what customer has told you 🙂 I would check that the rinse hold isnt activated, as on this machine the button doesn’t remain depressed when activated; also RH can be set on any wash cycle IIRC.
Check the supressor aswell (don’t ask me why) but can be at fault.Greg

Hi
What meter have you used to take the reading?
If you used one of those dangly oven thermometer, then forget accuracy, they are just a guide.
Temperature problems can also be caused by a poor sealing oven door, damaged door seal, faulty thermostat or weak/faulty circotherm fan motor.Greg

ParticipantRe: Bosch D/washer SGS5358GB/17 Programme Times Have Changed
Hi
It points to the turbidity sensor area.
The sensor manifold could be gunged up because they don’t rinse the plates or the turbidity sensor unit is faulty (never had that happen) or faulty module.
If it was my call I would give it a few good hot washes with some detergent.
It wouldn’t do any harm to check the usual clear ribbed pipe aswell at the front for gunge.Greg

disturbed wrote:Where would I find the NTC in the dishwasher is it accessible or do I need to dismantle
Its below the filters in sump but you will need to access the underneath of tank aswell (NTC is twist fit)
Can I test its use before I buy/order a new one?
You can but I would just change it after you have checked its circuit back to module first. Rare occasions it can be a faulty module but NTC is a known suspect.
Where could I get the part you suggest , should I use the spares service?
Yes use the spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk quoting that part number I gave.

Hi
Ok guys, I appreciate the inputs but I must enforce that this is a public forum and thus is inappropriate and unproffessional to advise modifying (however effective this maybe) this appliance.
It obviously has a fault which by the sounds of it helo has addressed more than once in this forum.
For future readers of this forum,be guided by the engineers on the site, they are time served and will know the correct repair for your appliance.Cheers
