    Hi
If you remove the lid and r/h panel, the heater will be as you face the r/h side; just to the right of the re circulation pump. It is an instantaneous heater box (plastic)
You would expect app 30 ohms on its terminals.

Un plug appliance before attempting any repair :plug:

Not forgetting the visitation to the bathroom which is preceded by emptying the full contents of baby bath, shower gel and a full roll of bog roll down toilet making a super foamy blockage that would put any washing machine with handwash powder in it to shame 😆

    Hi
It is accesible you will have to remove the front plinth and steel plate behind. The soft area will not have any bearing on this build up in the hose, its due to decaying food thats accumulated in there.

    Re: Washing machine not draining

Have you checked the filter (if fitted) and pump area because it sounds like you have a foreign object in there causing the pump to jam and not empty.

Un plug appliance before investigating :plug:

    Hi merv
Long shot but I wonder if when you say its still after fill on wash, it is actually heating and waiting for temp to be reached before starting agitation 😕 A while since I worked n one of these 😀

    Hi
A model number for starters would be an advantage. These tend to be Whirlpool made so I would be looking for a barcode sticker, then the 12 digit number below would be the number we would require to assist you further.

    Hi
On either side of the motor there should be two black plastic elongated holders, which have fly leads going to them and attached by two screws either side of the holder.
Remove in turn and check the length as previosly stated.

If they are required to be changed, an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will sort you out.

    Hi
It sounds to me like a heating problem maybe, if the spray arms are clear and washing with full gusto.

Un plug appliance if you are going to investigate further :plug:

    Hi Merv
When you say the above, does it actually agitate in the rinse?
