Replacement of the valve/s that have no resistence. 8)

    Hi Judy
Re your email regarding how to access the valves.
You will need to remove lid and the valves are situated at the rear of the appliance.
Un plug appliance before as always.

    Hi
With the appliance un-plugged :plug: you will need to check the resistence of the three fill valves individually and disconnected in turn, with a multimeter. (app 2-4kOhms) as boro mentioned.
If in any doubt, please use the repair link below off my sig.

Im sorry but we can’t give explicit information and diagrams out due to copyright etc.
What I would suggest is a call or visit to your parts supplier to see if any aid can be given to you.

Admiral a far superior machine IMHO.

Re: Bosch Maxx WFO2860GB/01 – Heating element?

    Hi
    Thanks for additional info.
The heater should read approx 28-32 ohms, with the terminals disconnected and appliance unplugged of course :plug: The heater if required is genuine p/no 265961. Could not see it listed in spares@ but Dave may pick up on this post and sort you out if required.
If heater reads fine and no earth leakage then Im afraid its time for an engineer, please use the link below on my sig.

If you that keen on side by sides, go the whole hog and buy a Maytag or Admiral. They are the measuring stick IMO.

Sounds like a faulty PTC (the sensor that slides inside heater) p/no 187031 £37.50 +Vat. The distance the PTC goes down the tubing may be critical for correct temp sensing aswell 😕

    Hi
If you remove the front plinth of appliance and then remove ribbed foot length hose which goes from sump to metering unit. Clean it and then put it back in.
Please un plug appliance first and if you get all the water out of sump area where filters sit, with a cloth you won’t get any water dribbling when you remove that hose, it just O rings in BTW.

If you look at the rear of the filters, you should see a dual plastic tube that goes up the rear internal cavity to a manifold that feeds the top basket.
Where this tube assembly locates in the rear of the filter, is it actually fully seated and not popped out?
