Really good stuff here guys, but what you are getting into now is more than really “basic” help for guiding a member of the public to repair their own appliance. We have to be very careful as not everyone has the same ability that you guys appear to have 😉
If you find the problem excellent and please share it with us all, but going into any more depth is not appropriate, sorry.

Im not familiar with AEG but I would imagine they have a safety thermostat under base, possibly with a red button that you can press to reset :con:

    Its a great job.
Ideal way is on its back on workmate so you know squinting and back aching.
Just drop the base enough to gain access.

Maybe Bosch could empty all of the water out after testing?

All manufacturers water test, so would be same for any make.

    Hope you get sorted.

Re: Bosch Dishwasher – Leaking Water on Delivery

Keep it upright or yes it will leak out of door. They should give stores in house traing as how to load/transport appliances especially fridges and freezers. Ive seen them load fridges etc on their back and sideways in cars, and sayleave it for a few hours be ok, what b*llox.

Back to topic, try appliance Im sure it will be fine. If you are unhappy, I would return it to store (upright) and express your concerns.

I would imagine you have lost a neutral feed. Check heater terminals on block and should read between 25-30 ohms.

    Re: Complaints Dept

The call centre woman I spoke to in Transco was so rude, everything was too much trouble, no wonder people don’t report gas leaks etc

    Hi
Sorry for delay in replyin 😳
This is a complex machine, but to me would indicate a problem with possibly a build up of ice in freezer (numerous reasons why) obstructing airway to fridge. I would seriously consider the engineer link below.

    Re: Bosch SGS5312GB Not Heating

    Hi
Not heard of that happening and can’t see how either. Even if relay had stuck “on” the thermal protection on heater unit would kick in.
Was it pcb that caught fire do you know?

Re: Bosch WIT7420GB/08 Will not select

    Thats a nice fault.
I would firstly check for earth leakage.
Failing that possibly a power module fault.
Boro might be able to shed more light on it 😉
