Flyman wrote:Its that time of year again 🙁 Spent twenty minutes today trying to convince a customer that the freezer on her single stat/single compressor fridge freezer is defrosting because it is too cold in her garage. Does anyone have anything “offical” looking, from one of the major manufacturers perhaps, which can be used to back up an engineer when the customer is convinced he is lying to her 🙁 “I have never heard anything so ridiculous!” was repeated several times.
I have checked several customer manuals from different manufacturers and they all seem to put in a small note giving the operating range but do not explain why. 😕

You say listen love, you called me; if you such an expert why are you wasting mine and your time 😈

Why did you feel the need to do a test though; just curious 😉

    Re: Another joke.

The phone rings. The lady of the house answers, “Hello?”
    “Mrs Ward, please.”

    “Speaking,” she replies.

” Mrs Ward, this is Doctor Jones at the Medical Testing Laboratory. When your Doctor sent your husband’s samples to the lab, the samples from another Mr. Ward were sent as well, and now we’re uncertain as to which ones are your husband’s. Frankly, it is either bad or terrible.”

“What do you mean?” Mrs Ward asks.

“Well, one Mr. Ward has tested positive for Alzheimer’s disease and the other positive for AIDS. We can’t tell which your husband’s is.”

“That’s terrible! Can’t we just do the test over?” questions Mrs Ward.

“Normally, yes. But Medicare won’t pay for these expensive tests more than once.”

“And? What the hell am I supposed to do now?” she enquires, very upset.

“The people at Medicare recommend that you drop your husband off in the middle of town. If he finds his way home, don’t sleep with him.”

    Re: BOSCH WVF2000GB/16 Interlock problem

There is no other influence to keep door locked, only the 2 mins after power down.

Only problem Ive ever had is the interlock bowden travel jamming and changing interlock sorts that.
Check that bowden is correctly located in both lock and button mechanisms. Power off of course :plug:

If after checking all that I think you have reached the end of basic repair and would recommend conatcting repairs@ for your nearest engineer.

Part for interlock is 069639 and has not been superseded and will definately sort the problem out.
As always un-plug before attempting any repair :plug:

    Wrong info I think 🙁

    Dave.

Tradeplace has no part substitute Dave for 096805 so I would imagine that the part number 096805 is still valid 😕
