As lotusray said, any insulation problem will make programming impossible.Possibly once re circ motor had dried out it will start to play ball. When u switch off, immediately press P button and I bet it moves prog along.
Use hair drier to speed up drying out time in base

This is may sound stupid, but only time I had problem with bosch door latch is when basket was in wrong way.
Model would help also as latches vary

Only one negative on this brand and that is the cost is significantly higher for spares than say bosch, siemens or neff, but hey they do last eons, so……….
