ParticipantRe: Bosch Washer WFO2466 problem – no activity
Jammed or faulty drain pump a possibility, worth a check.
Drains before anything else, failing that, most likely the PCB 😡Greg

Hi
Get model off appliance (preferably the 12 digit number below barcode) and also count the flashes of lamp above the Start button, if applicable (no model number so guessing 😉 )Greg

Hi
My suggestion would be to get an electrician in to check the electrical feed to the appliance.
You should not get any shocks off of the appliance.
Cease using it and unplug/switch off until checked ❗Greg

Hi Simon
Have you removed the gauze filter inserted into the fill hose end/s?
Sometimes these get crudded up 😀 Worth a look before re-mortgaging your house to buy spares 😆Greg

ParticipantRe: BOSCH Exxcel 1400 Washing Machine
What I was trying to say before is basically if you use the same amount of detergent as you were in your last machine, then it will be too much for the new machine and most probably the rinses will be inaffective in removing all of the powder thus making the clothes stiff regardless of softner used 😉

Hi Phil
Lots of codes and so many variants 😕
There is an error code book compiled by UKW that covers all makes and a good majority of codes 😀
A PM to Dave_Conway or kwatt should sort for you at a steal of a price.Greg

Hi
Either the machine can’t empty or the WI (water Indicator, 3 oclock position below filters) is clogged up or faulty.
At worst it could be the PCB module. 😥Power off if you are to investigate :plug:

ParticipantRe: BOSCH Exxcel 1400 Washing Machine
Hi
Seeing as its only 6 months old, did you change from an older type of machine?
These used lots more water and detergent.
The new machines nowadays use reduced water (some barely visible until rinses) hence the need for less detergent.
You will be best adhering to dosage according to hardness of water, garment tag/s ie temp and wash cycle and clothing weight for optimum results.
If you overdose you will most probably get white tide marks on your clothes and stiffness of fabric.
Incidentally, I take it the machine fill hose is fitted to the cold and not the hot? Best way to check is to put it on a rinse and see if hot water enters the dispenser; if so you will need to swap it over to the cold tap.
Have a look here for additional information 😀

Hi
You either have a sticking fill valve (not closing fully) or the drive to the valve on the module is faulty.Greg
