It’s a big pile of BS!
You and your ‘friends’ have to sign up to 2 websites and wait months for them to verify this. And I can’t see how they can verify it. I gave up coz it was to much hassle, but it is genuine.

I totally agree with Bryan. I give em a business card with their bill. Stickers are too over the top. They can put the card where ever they want (including the bin i suppose).

I hate that site! It’s full of really dodgey advice and lots of cheap-skates. They’re being removed from my links real soon.
Sayin that, I think I’ve made about £10 profit from them so far. After I advised a guy on there once, he drove over 200 miles to buy a spare off me. It’s true!!

I just wanted to revive this topic, it’s brilliant!
I haven’t laughted this much for ages. Especially getting scoldng hot brews when your leaving, and having to move your tool box 5 times so they can make the brew.
And why do women insist on giving you a mobile number, they never turn on?
My brother works for Merloni (all spit on the floor now), so he has to fix Indeshits in the worse dives in the country. He’s had fleas 3 times now. It’s very sadly true!

I had a 50 pence piece in an ‘Ocean’ washer before. It had jammed sideways between the inner drum and outer tub, and it cut the metal outer tub clean in half like a tin-opener. It was spectacular!! Even more amazing, the customer paid for a new outer tub. I which I’d took a photo of it, but twas a long time ago.

I’ve downloaded the pdf, but the problem is I don’t do faxes. It says in the charter I have to be contactable by fax; really?
I cover the BB area. Do you have some1 covering this area and do you get requests for engineers in this area?

In my area, there has been a lot of indepedents quit lately. It’s usually the one’s who just did vacuum repairs, or just did repairs without sales. Sales account for nearly half of my business now!!!!
I keep gettin new customers that have ex-engineers stickers on the appliances. I hate that. Engineers that think they have to put stickers all over the customers appliances. If you did a good job, they will call you again. There’s another poll I think. ‘Do you stick stupid lil stickers on your customers appliances?’
Oh yeah, and the fall in yp adverts could be to do with bt having a classified section now. 🙄

Oh yeah, an one time I took some fake fingernails from a pump.
The lady there was very upset saying stuff like ‘He’s been cheating on me again the b#####d!’ etc.
I put my head down and left quick (after the bill was paid). 😉
ps. do you have a policy on swearing and talking about rubber johnnies?
