    Try This, looks like S2 is a pilot. http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ic&t=13199

    EDIT
Added a space between full stop after pilot & hyperlink to allow it to display correctly. 😉

Strangley, I did the same thing yesterday on a Creda cooker :rolls:

Turned out I had crossed the: Load A and the load B, The fault was, On twin grill the R/H element came on full power, But on single both came on half power i.e top oven mode. Hope this helps.

    Re: Live hood??

Strangely, Martin the last cooker hood I helped a mate to install was 2 wire and no earth. I thought it odd, With that much metal and 230 volts it should have had an earth, But appantly not so according the the install instructions. I can understand double insulation on a vac, But a great lump os steel ❓

    Re: Live hood??

I have read somewhere that eddy currants might be the cause of the volt stick lighting.May be a live cable running under the tiles and the un earthed mass of the hood may be picking it up. Apparently if there is a broken earth on a ring main some some of of the earth conductors will pick up an induced currant from the adjacent lives.

Received the timer 481228218663 2 weeks ago after 4 weeks on back order with Connect. After a few attempts to make an appointment, Called today to fit the part and guess what 👿 Wrong timer 👿 👿 👿 I have taken the rating plate off the filter door and have it in front of me, And the Service No is the one I ordered the part under. Called ASD And Whirlpool spares, Both quoted the same wrong number! Have given up, And asked the letting agent to tell the landlord to call Whirlpool, And get his wallet out

Looks like I will have to return to this job, Once Madams men have removed the bespoke plinths :wobble: Will have a look at leaking/ flooding, But from what I have read in searches looks like a PCB fault and after the modifed boards have been fitted the only means of water level control is the PCB, With the mushroom as a fail safe. Looking forward to this one. Not

Thought I was The only one who had come across this model. The trouble is the Kitchen installer has fitted a screw through the door innner panel to lock the cabinet panel at the correct height to match the adjacent door line, So now the cust is not happy at having a 30mm gap at the top of the DW door. I wondered why there way another display behind the cab door 😕 Would it be possible to fit the standard Smeg latch and do away with this Heath Robinson device ❓ Living In Hope.
