it is always best to replace the rear drum half and not just the bearings.

    Re: BOSCH wvti2840gb/03 E01 FAULT

went back to the appliance yesterday and found base full of water. The 3 way valve is faulty and dripping water constantly even when not in use. Called bosch as they were cheapest for the part and it is out of stock in this country and needs to come from the mother land (germany). I think there is possibly a big problem with these parts as appliance is only just over 2 years old and seems a bit of a strange fault to me as never seen a valve leak like that.

£103.50 for me. i called my rep for connect and he didnt seem very keen with the whole discount idea. Just gave some rubbish about having to build a case for me to present to his bosses to see whether i warranted any discount!!!!!

if the heater of open circuit it can cause lots of strange faults or if the resetable stat has “popped”. I doubt i timer fault on these dishwashers.

    Re: BOSCH wvti2840gb/03 E01 FAULT

just had a phone call form the customer saying that she did one wash perfectly then half way through the drying cycle it starting flashing E01 again….aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Any ideas what else could cause this fault???

The pump is activated at the same time and it cycles through the status lights , i.e time remaining, spin etc

Dont really want to part with money i took and would like to help this customer out if possible but dont want to keep ordering spares in the hope one of them fixes the problem.

    Re: BOSCH wvti2840gb/03 E01 FAULT

hi,thanks for the reply, i didnt notice the red window part on the customers one as first time i had come across this new time of aquastop, but i did see it on the new hose i have ready to fit. So i betg on closer inspection of the custs one that the window has indeed turned red. As i took off the custs hose at supply end i found some yellow putty type stuff on the hoses filter as property is a new build.

    Re: Hotpoint FZA84

the thermistors on the hotpoint range are non replaceable they rely on the module gathering information from them while they work and if they should fail then the average temp info that the module has gathered keeps it running, But in your case it just sound like a module failure to me. each comes pre programmed (apparantly) with average useage times.

    Re: Hotpoint TC71 cutting out

when the tc71 starts to play up like you have described then you would be looking to replace the reverse timer on the right hand side ( as you look at appliance from the front ) at the bottom. take off the right panel and it is at the back on the base. you have replaced the relay which would have been my first bet aswell so i would defo try the rev timer.failing that the main timer is faulty but very unlikely.

yes the chances are a motor tacho fault, i am still in contact with my hotpoint buddies who replace alot of motors and modules on this range.

    Re: Hotpoint WMA 66,dead.

i would be looking at replacing the main power module as any fault with components on this will kill the display board, the chances of the actual display being faulty are slim.
