    Re: wf541

try replacing module as these can cause most of the faults you find on these wf models..they are a pain in the a@@e also check the cable from power module to the display module and thinking about it check the display module too. these machines are tricky little bu@@ars.

Re: Whirpool dishwasher door not closing

yep been caught out with one of these aswell. the top basket wasnt pushed all the way back and wasnt in contact with the water inlet bit therefore preventing the door from closing. it took longer to replace the wooden door trim once i found the problem. wont get caught out like that again !!!! 😉 😆

no i am inclined to say that it sounds like the stats are at fault especially the cycling stat as this can cause the heater to cycle on and off randomly 😛

    Re: bad smelling hotpoint

also on the wf range check the door seal as once they start to go black under the lip bit all the maintenance washes in the world will not get rid of the smell. So new door seal is a good start THEN carry out regular maintenance washes. I also sell them the limescale/detergant remover that Hotpoint engineers themselves sell to customers, cos it really is good stuff and really works.

    HTH 😉

Have had 3 of these in past month and no recalls

    Re: BOSCH DISHWASHER SGS43A52/GB35

alot of bosch modules cover quite a few appliances so in the box usually comes some programming instructions that you compare to the programmes that are on the appliance you are fitting it to. then enter the appropriate code and shabbang ricky martin there you have it one working appliance.. 😆 😆

you gotta love dem germans 😮

oh and i looked on boschs site and cant find programming instructions on there only the custs instructions that they get with appliance. so worth while conacting manu and asking them for some.

Re: Miele T234C Condenser Tumble Dryer

i had same problem with these t/d and it turned out to be a blocked condenser although when i arrived it was completely clear which threw me off the scent…but…on further interigation of the customer i discovered it was completely full of fluff and she had only just cleaned it. So advised cust to keep condenser clear and BINGO no more calls from this cust about this t/d…yippeee !!! 😆 😆

i would check the door microswitch because it could think door is shut and therefore prevent the user from selecting anything..failing that pcb is faulty. i should have one or quick access to one if that helps

    Re: Hotpoint WD71

i would check the valves and heater as i have had both cause strange faults on tis appliance, but i would put my money on a faulty heater down to earth. the ribbon you describe is purely for the display mod and wouldnt cause any faults apart from losing the display.

    Re: Who uses agents?

i used to be an agent for SMEG but they were terrible at paying up so i quit with them. excellent 45{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} discount on parts but that was about as good as it got.
