Re: Bosch d/w sgs55c02gb/01 check water light

I am assuming by orientation you mean how the impellor jug is positioned ie flat/tilted because I definately got the flow direction right. So my next question is does any kind soul have a picture they can supply or info as to how the impellor jug should sit? I paid no attention to this when replacing as I didn’t realise it’s importance 😕

Re: Bosch d/w sgs55c02gb/01 check water light

This is the mystery because it has good pressure into appliance and is dry as a bone in the base

could the inlet valve be the cause? What ya reckon,or possibly a module fault ?

Re: Whirlpool AKZ161 light flashing and reverting back to 16

The bit u described is £63 plus vat this dont sound too expensive to me, but it is a special order part and therefore unreturnable if doesnt turn out to be correct part to fix fault. sorry to question what you are saying but i find it hard to beleive how that part which looks no more than a selector switch x 2 with a ribbon cable inbetween which i assume is for display module. What in the part causes the temperature to reset back to 160 and cycle back to clock and oven light flash on/off and no error code to pop up? if you have a connect acc could you enter the numbers from my last post to confirm if this indeed the part you mean. ta

are you sure? this part surely just alters the temperature and sets the clock and nothing more. have looked on connects site part number 5031689338264, is this the bit you mean? i have already ordered power mod part number 5031680242584. so the second part is not required then?

Re: New way to replace Bosch brushes.

i find it just as easy to tip applaince back slightly and lie on the floor like a commando lying in wait in the long grass for the enemy, soz got side tracked…anyways, from this position it is quite easy to replkace both carbon brushes without the removal of the motor.

so there you have it, all found out with an appliance that would never have come all the way out (a bit like george michael in the early days!).

    😀

    Re: Pathetic!

when i do a wma job the cust gets a new rear drum half, heater, and drum support needed but i usually have a spare inner drum with new spider fitted to save the hassle of doing it at customers house.possibly new drum seal as well but usually mastic does the trick 😀

thats how i justify my charges for the job i do and now i even have a whole drum assy ready so cust feels they getting a better deal then i recondition custs old drum with new rear half etc. sweet 😀

now then zanussi washing machine bearing change is a different matter.
i have never done or attempted one because it looks like a lot has to be dismantled, so on that note how do you go about bearing change on a zanussi washing machine or even better a washer dryer. and how much do you charge for it??

    Re: Pathetic!

never had a recall on any drum job i have done and leave the customer very happy with a quiet machine. only 150 if drum support is needed. still get called back by custs for other apps so must be happy with the price 😀 you gotta think parts are gonna be 60 to 70 for me to buy. oh and a years guarantee to sweeten the deal

    Re: Pathetic!

yes what do you charge for bearing change??

i always recommend rear drum half replacement at a cost of aprox 130 – 150 total with a years guarantee.
