Re: Electrolux Double Oven EOD 982

Dude when i worked for hotpoint we had this a few times, something to do with how the air circulates in the oven and what tin they were using, its a bit tricky to put into words but bottom line was no fault with oven just turn cakes half way round through cooking !!! 😛

the principle is simple for a fan oven – an element and a fan to blow it round the oven cavity, simple 😀

Re: Whirlpool dishwasher hinge replacement Help Please

in hind sight that does make alot of sense. even with the appliance removed and lying on one side i still cannot see the door hinge properly and cannot see how to gain access to it to replace it. so i assume all the door panel has to come off to see the hinge.

so the bottom line is that if the customer buys the parts and wants them fitting we should tell them to sling their hook?! surely a job is a job whether you supply the parts or not, you still make the labour charge out of them and dont have to offer any sort of guarantee…..sorted 😀

    Re: GPRS Credit Card terminals

just a quick question as i am very interested in getting one of the hand held terminals, if insufficient funds are in the customers account when paying for the repair does the terminal know this and reject the card??

also check switch pack which is sometimes fitted in front of stat and dodgy contacts on this can cause oven not to work properly.

pinky dude also check the door handle spring as if these are worn or broken then the latch doesnt engage the door interlock correctly.
