ModeratorI would strongly advise removing the door panel and checking the wiring harness to repair any broken wiring. It is the weak point in every single dishwasher regardless of manufacturer. Some are better designed than others but with age the wiring insulation hardens and cracks. Sometimes the heat generated at the break can cause further damage.

ModeratorYes they have been posted, believe it or not they are in the KNOWN ERROR CODES thread. 😉

ModeratorYou can still access the Albums forum if you enter the full url. I then right clicked on the SPECIAL tab at the top of the page to view source and could see the attached screen shot. Could someone with Admin powers be able to delete it all from there? Still doesn’t explain how on earth Dapman was able to find it and post though.

ModeratorA job for Sudeep. 😉

ModeratorI had no idea there even was a ‘special’ forum and can find no sign of a link to it on the homepage?
What puzzles me is how an apparently rank and file member can find that forum, gain access to it and even post in it???iadom
ModeratorHas Dapman got permission to post advertising his business in Southend, A1 Appliances?
It’s in Albums ?
Albums appears to reached via Home>Special>Albums but if I click on Special I get access denied and yet I can view Albums even if his posts seem to be the only ones in there apart from deleted spam?????

ModeratorA communication error could be faulty pcb but could also be a simple break in the door wiring harness preventing the console pcb from ‘communicating’ with the main pcb in the base. You would need to unplug then remove outer door panel to inspect the wiring. Look carefully at the place the harness bends as the door is opened and closed.

ModeratorI don’t have Partfinder anymore but anyone who has access to tech info will still need a model/serial/commercial code number. 😉
TBH the connections are so weak, replacing with AMP tags is a far better option.

ModeratorA proper model NUMBER, not name is what we need to go any further.;)

ModeratorIf the drain pump is the source of the noise then a complete pump replacement is the only fix.

ModeratorNot sure about this particular model, is it a condenser or vented dryer? For many years the Hotpoint condenser dryers did tumble in one direction for a long time, the reverse tumble is quite short, only a minute or two.

ModeratorPage 8 of KNOWN ERROR CODES THREAD, post #116. 🙁
August 4, 2019 at 6:06 pm in reply to: Hotpoint AQ113F 497I giving error code F18 – Trying to fix the control board #462727iadom
ModeratorF18 is supposed to be a communications error, commonly due to poor connections between the circuit boards. In this instance it is likely that the fried slug has done some damage to the board. Fitting a second hand board would be taking a gamble. Even when machines have the same model number they can have 5 or 6 different software combinations depending on serial number and commercial code. I would attempt to repair what you can see and keep your fingers crossed.

ModeratorAs you didn’t include a make I had to Google to find out you have a Beko appliance, I have moved your question to the correct forum.
