    Hi,
OK I think the pump (bearings) might have gone. I’ve checked the drain hose & all seems OK.
I’ve un done it from the waste pipe & put it in a large saucepan, while in the pan it empties really well, but if i left it up (to worktop height) then it struggles & not much happens (apert from a noise that sounds like its struggling)
I could record a quick video it thats needed.

    Cheers

    Hi,
When it does actually drain it seems fine, when its not it sounds like a muted grumble/moan (hard to describe)

    Re: Liebherr Freezer Problem

    Hi,
I’m still having issues with this FF & need to find a local engineer to come & have a look. Can anyone point me in the direction of one rather than just pot luck from Yellowpages etc

    Re: Liebherr Freezer Problem

    Hi John,
    1) The frost seems to be in the upper 1/2 (maybe 1/3) more towards the centre.
    2) My wife has been in today & has said it has been running continuously all day.
    3) I’m not sure how to check the gas for a leak

    I hope this helps

Ok Cheers, sounds like a new unit then as it is about 7-8yrs old & probably not worth spending on

    Hi its me again,
Ok i have defrosted the fridge/freezer,and now plugged back in & switched on.
It started making the right sort of noises & i left it on over night. This morning the freezer seems cool not cold/frozen

Is this a thermostat problem or a dead unit?

    Cheers

Hi again,i have managed to have a look at the oven.I cant find a model number on it anywhere.
I have been to a local supplier who says its a very old Belling & cant get me a replacement.

Below is a picture of what it looks like

    On the bracket it says ‘RED 6 32 240V 1125W 214105’
