Can you please tell me if this is the right forum for carpet washers or should I be posting elsewhere thanks
Is there any web site where I can find details of stripping it down,,, I dont think this one has a pump..

Its usually the door latch mechanism that fails.
Part number C00257618. Easy to change, can be done from the front without removing any panels.
An e-mail to spares@ukwhitegoods should get you sorted.
Be sure to change the latch on the door as well, this is inlcuded with the latch kit.

Thank you sir,,are you saying that there are 2 elements, I have just spoken to my son , he tells me it works on the high setting.
I read your other information regarding the reset button but he tells me it doesn’t move at all when he presses it.
cheersI have found a solinoid for this machine at Curry’s spares £8.00, I have also discovered that the whole dispenser assembly is called a electrodipenser.
I suppose the fancy name tries to justify the rip off price, I reckon my son is going to ahve to look for a new machine.I tried to look at the one on this web page ISE but nothing comes up,, any ideas please.I have just almost had a heart attack.
I tried one local company on the off chance, they quoted me £102, How the hell do manufacturers/suppliers justify these stupid prices for spares when a new machine would be around £200.Sorry about the spelling mistake. I have a slight disabilaty and am also 65 I do try to do my best.
My son tells me that the door doesn’t open.I placed a parts enquiry but Dave tells me that he cannot source this part. Is there anywhere else I can get it from.

Hi Penguin 45 thanks for the reply,, is the solanoid easy to get at do I get at it from the inside or do I have to take the casing off,
any idea of price.
