    yes in my experience that always happens so i cant understand why its not starting up unless perhaps there is a fault somewhere on the pcb.

    had a number of these with the same faults and has always turned out to be the circuit board on them.

    when the motor clicks in does it stay on for any length of time, if so it points to a probable problem with the gas side,leakage or more likely blocking up.Needs an engineer to sort out.

    cheers dave although that is the part connect havent got 1 in stock at present and would be 25 days at least.Dont think customer will wait that long.

    Hi think you will find with sc18 compressors 80uf is not unusual i usually fit 60-80uf with no call back.
