I have had the Magnet come loose on the end of the motor rotor. Screw back on & tighten.

Have you checked the plastic pipe between the measuring tank & the sump, also the float chamber at the measuring tank can stick causing water to overflow. The pipe can fill with silt.I use a siphoning tube available from CPC to empty the base of water. Prevents water spilling/flooding onto the floor.

Yes Motor & Cap OK, no power to reversing timer. Looks like Timer of start relay. Could do with timer wiring connections.

ParticipantRe: Baumatic BDW15 Dishwasher
OK sorted.
It wasn’t the pressure switch , which turned out to be a red herring. The pressure switch acts only as an overfill protector hence when I connected a piece of tubing to it & blew down into it got E4 (overfill error)I took a look at the air breather tank ( which I should have done in the first place if I had understood how it measures the water) On the air breather tank there is a flow meter (a little water wheel that spins around at the water inlet, this in turn activates a reed switch, switching on & off as the water wheel spins). Presumably the control logic counts the pulses from the reed switch & determines the correct water quantity required.
The plug & lead which attaches to the reed switch is held in place by a glob of hot glue. When I took this plug off, cleaned the contacts & put it back on the machine started to fill correctly. I must have disturbed the contact when I took the machine apart to replace the pump.jrrepair_2000

Control PCB , there is a big 1uf 275V capacitor. Loses capacitance.

ParticipantRe: Baumatic BDW15 Dishwasher
I think it must be. I have traced the wires. One wire to the pressure switch is connected directly to the incoming live without going through the mains switch. The other goes back to the control PCB also connected to the pump & the anti flood micro switch. I have ordered a new pressure switch, hope this will sort it.

ParticipantRe: Baumatic BDW15 Dishwasher
As there are 2 wires going to the pressure switch I had assumed there would only be 2 positions on/off.

ParticipantRe: Electra E6740W (Servis) Washer
Well thats it then, new motor, module & display PCB, not worth repairing. Parts price cost more than the price of the machine when new 13 months ago.
