most of the time the old board can be configured and it usually works, you may have a new faulty board if it keeps flashing stop every so often. Its not a wiring fault, i had this before and spoke to tech, they said replace board again.

put the old board back on it and cut out resistors 2 and 3

    remember they go 0 1 2 3 4

    not 1234

before you order the new board, cut the resistors first, this works 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time!

Is it worth getting it out and drying out the base as suggested in some other posts? Could the blocked up drain pipe have caused damage to the pump? It’s almost two years old – do you think it’s worth repairing one of these seemingly bad dishwashers? I think it’s around the £100 mark for a new pump isn’t it? Thanks again.

I’ve had a machine before where the drain hose has ben blocked, the water indicater was clogged and it started to fill and the water flooded out of the door before.

Its not very likely that a blockage caused damagae to the pump. the wash pump is around £92.

A new machine will cost you inbetween £350 – £450, so its probably worth having it repaired.

these machines usually come with a 5 year warranty, it may be worth contacting CDA to discuss a repair (labour costs) if it less than 5 years old

I didn’t realish they came with a 5 year GT. Call out your local service agent then and get it done properly 😛

you need to stick the foam to the worktop around the hole you have cut out for the hob – DO NOT SILICONE IT!!!!

Not to sure about the model your dealing with, but normally the clips attatch to the hob so you can push the hob down, put cant pull it up.

careful when doing this because if your worktop is chipboard, it damages VERY easily! and getting it out with the clips on is difficult to, so be careful!!

Re: Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher 292T

I think you may have water in the base of the appliance, the few ive worked on the lid motors are the main culprit for leaks on these appliances, or possibly something stopping the lid closing down, like a plate thts to big or something similar. If you pull out the bottom drawer and unclip the runners (each side of the drawerat the bottom behind the front panal) and see if there is water flooded.

If there has it may have blowen the power board under the plastic cover.

!!!If you do decide to check TURN THE POWER OFF!!!

when you open the door, count the flashes between the pauses and that will give you a fault code, let me know how many times it flashes and ill tell you 🙂

It could possibly be an NTC fault or a control board fault on the heater circuit.

when you say its not cleaning properly, in what way is it not cleaning, it could be a variety of things.

What things are you trying to wash and on what setting are you washing them?

Did you do a service wash before you used the machine? (run it on 95 degree wash)

have you loeft enough gap at the top of the drum, the machine should only be 3/4 full, or it will have poor wash results.
