Yep, we do make visits, cause sometimes you just have to.

We take £40.00 deposit on the 1st visit before ordering parts because we had some change their minds after we’ve left.

bloody hell!! £40 deposit, how much do you charge!? you must be good! 🙂

Re: Recommended washer dryer for under £350

If you could just find somewhere for a small dryer, even if you have to move it to use it, would be worth it because wash dryers as a rule, arn’t much good. And very expensive.

If 2 dashes appear, then there cant be 18 on the display!?!

If it is defrosting, check there is power to the compressor, the Temp sensors rarely go wrong. It will more likely be the control board.

    Does it need a regas?

The 18 and 5 are what it is set to, wont flash temperature unless it is below -12 if I remember rightly.

Take the lback cover off in the freezer and check the back is fully frozen

I was wondering, would duff motor brushes not allow the interlock to work? 😕

Not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure Martin , but from memory worn out brushes would still allow the door interlock to “lock on” but machine won`t do anything else.

    Bryan

x2, brushes will cause the door to lock, but not to start.

x2 – more than likely it is the brushes or a broken wire on the motor plug.

they can break right on the actual motor plug and sometimes you have to give the wires a little tug just to see if one snaps.

Whirlpools new domino machine has had a problem with some of their ctrl boards, bad packaging meant moisture got into them, if its been in storage for 12 months, maybe there has been some moisture on the board?

Re: whirlpool S20B RWW20-A/G ICE MAKER

Lift the flap up where the actual ice maker is, feel to see if that black rubber pipe on the roof is frozen, if the waters only just been connected and the ice maker has never worked since you conencted it, i doubt this would be the case.

Is the little red light flashing on the left hand side?

Is the ice maker switched on (silly question!)
