Have spoken to the engineer again and he tells me he has already fitted a new one of those, Any other ideas please? Would the positioning of this defrost stat cause any probs if it was fitted in the incorrect place? Cheers Kez

I’ve rung them and they don’t have it in – there are 200 in Germany! Was hoping someone might have it on shelf.

Apparently, I wasn’t listening (according to engineer, who is also brother!); this machine fills, stops, then empties, repeatedly and sometimes it goes through without doing that. I know E1 denotes metering tank but wondering whether this is something else?

Have taken this appliance back and all is working fine. But another question! The customer advises that when it went wrong initially the program that would normally take just under 2 hours was showing as 2hs 45 at the start. Since repair he says its still showing as a 2hr 45 program now?! Any idea if there is some sort of default setting that has been activated? Kind regards. Kez
