Had a problem with one of these not rotating top spray arm and not heating. Read this post, applied logic and thought I’d found the one part that would solve both problems! However, fitted new heater box and the water is now being diverted correctly, top spray arm doing its thing but still no heat. Would it be thermistor or is it likely to be a module fault? Just thought I’d ask – How many customers do you think would cancel, even having the right to do so? Most customers, having dealt with a reputable trader, would be happy that they have had their appliance repaired, for a reasonable fee. They’re not going to waste time asking you to come back and take off a part in most cases are they?
Ok so there’s always the idiot but 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of customers are genuine and reasonable – don’t forget, they’re human too!I am reading through this thread just before I order my new invoice books, wondering if I can incorporate some notice into them, so it obviously bothers and infuriates me that this legislation was ever passed in the first place, but I think we need not worry too much that the whole of the county is going to start requesting refunds, even if they ever get to hear about their rights, which quite frankly hasn’t happened so far! 😀

The sensor comes with baffle which is why I changed the baffle, but it made no difference.

I understand there’s a modified one, but this particular job is very tight on price. I wondered if there was any other way? Do you know the part number for the modified drum at all? Thanks Kez

I’d suggest you call a local firm of reputable repairers to see if they can id the fault and repair it! Oh and by the way, we’re not all chaps! Kx

Hi Andy, thanks for that. I’ve telephoned your company today but the lady wasn’t able to i.d. the correct part for me. She’s very kindly sending out a diagram by post as we don’t have fax, but I wondered if you might have the part number that I can call back and quote? To clarify, its the defrost heater for the freezer side – looks from connections like it may come as part of the freezer evaporator. Many thanks. Kez
