Hey John , I examined the machine again . And as you suggested Yes The powersupply board at the bottom was cooked and took the lower drawer controller board with it . I didn’t check the upper controller as we were too far down the road at that stage .It was running into money so I recommended a new machine But not a F&P .Sorry for a late reply.

I think you are correct , I think the motor was the problem . I didn’t see it before but the motor was very warm after a few mins , So thanks again for your help !

thanks for both suggestions Guys , I checked both PCBs and not any sign of a dry joint so I ran around the bord with the Iron and redid anything that looked faded , checked leads I even gave it a big Hug but this is one for the Scrap heap .
BTW , what is the red box shaped component on the floor of the cabinate under the motor ? A capacitor in disguise ?Re: Electrolux ESI 6105 Dishwasher

I will give it a shot. I find a lot of the bosch and siemens are similar but the facia has a chrome static touch-panel so I’m not sure if it will respond but all suggestions are welcome .
