Re: Daewoo fails to complete wash cycle

Sorry should have said tried with and without a load motor appears to work in both directions and as per programme choice in wash mode or rinse mode works perfectly until countdown jumps from 11 mins back up to 12 until that time has lapsed then stops with error code E8 ….. Suspect Pcb so that was why I was wondering if they can be reset….

Thought I would update my results, a second look at the boards showed the large board relays were clicking away when switched on so checked the feed to the small board which gave approx 5 volts…but the relay wasn’t operating..replaced relay still no luck so de-soldiered the transistors and checked…one wasn’t given true reading so replaced it.. all other components checked out everything replaced and now works perfectly…
    costs £6, time and patience…
Thanks for your help hope it helps others…

Thanks for the reply is there anyway to check the boards I was thinking the larger board which holds the connection for the thermostat most likely controls the neutral for the elements..as the boards appear to cost a fortune don’t want to change one only to find the other is knackered as well….
    Thanks for your input….

hi to enter machine diagnostics I take it you require an interface n laptop with diagnostic programme….which I don’t have did note a 4 pin connection on the pcb which i examined with large magnification did not see any obvious corrosion or burning tracking ect so if pcb board would need to be a component fault….any easy solution… ❓

Hi would like to thank you for your help and congratulate all concerned in running the site I take it a new board will need to be programmed or will the part work straight from supplier…hoping a complaint direct to zanussi will prove fruitful the machine is only 14 months old….

    Re: zanussi zwf 12070

hi have tried disconnection of hose to pressure switch however still does not fill…I checked the drain hose from the bottom on first day said hose has a plastic ball within through check revealed no blockage within hose or around the ball again this goes all the way up to pressure switch and was clear so with pressure switch isolated machine does not fill so i guess its back to the pcb ?….
