Been doing this job for 35 years (self employed 30).
Still the public never cease to amaze me , booked in a call explaining that my call out was £20. … fine please book me in.
10 year old Hotpoint, smells like a drain !! Explain about to many cool washes , soda crystals with a hot wash at least 3-4 times , not worth changing door boot , won’t relieve smell.
Oh by the way my tumble dryer makes a buzzing noise , what’s that ?, start cap knackered, I can repair today ( gave a price ).
No don’t bother , it’s on insurance, … ok then .. but please repair soon because it will do irreparable damage to the motor, dear customer.
At property for approx 25 mins. That’s £20 please .

Roll on retirement….always strive to give the BEST service but there are some numb nuts out there who you cannot please .

Went to one a few years ago , the kitchen fitter GRIPFILLED the dishwasher to the floor !!!
A jackhammer was needed to remove it.

I had a similar problem with a diplomat,i had to lift the oven up slightly and then pull,i think what happens is the machine being quite heavy,sinks onto the runners,have 3 weetabix and have another go !
