    Update on the Gripfilled m/c ,builder came and managed to remove d/w.
    I came back ,repaired it +charged for 2 visits, me happy ,customer happy.builder has the job of refitting m/c with customer keeping a beady eye on him !!

    thanks,i checked the cap,thats ok will ask customer about cooling,maybe have alook at the front bearing whilst am at it.

    its just me now out on the road (downsizing).so spares ordering has lessened…
    And i still use ,and get great service from kitchen economy,i have not had any problems with them.but i may go a couple of months till i put another order in.

    Job done ,works perfectly.
    i did notice with the faulty item that the bearing in the impellor was quite noisy,and possibly baulking when it spun up.giving a faulty reading ,got another one to go to next week,looks like itmight be a common problem me thinks.thanks to all for info

    yep me to , elements,maybe tangiential cooling fans,fan motors, and stats only if i can get access via a side panel.if it means going anywhere near the gas,walk away.i do remove the bayonet,sometimes,but i will always try to repair with it in situ

    yep should be the ribbon cable ,i slightly crimp the connector before refiting

    Maybe its the tangential fan seized,or cabinet stat
