    That was the fault thank you very much,this oven uses a manky plastic tangential fan.
    customer well pleased,seeing as it was a christmas eve call.

    i also find that you can get away with a totally different element,just bend it into shape,slide it in,has always worked for me

    Been to a few of these,seems the machine gets a bit upset if the pump is bloked or jammed.
    The pump runs for a second or 2 at the start of the prog ..if it doesnt the start light flashes

    Done few of these,the first one had me going a bit !!
    pull the oven out ,take the back off ,you should find 3 screws that should be holding the floor of the oven in place,there should be the same at the front as well.it can be a bit of a job to pull out the floor,i found if i use long nose pliers at the back right hand side of the floor and pull up,it usually works.
    i think its the same cooker as a CDA, once the floor is out its easy to fit the new element.

    No, on the known error codes list its water triac (call an engineer) .
    Anyway,the machine works ok now,

    a quick fix ,if the(knob) shaft is split along its length
    try zipping a bag tie around the shaft ,works a treat

    its usually the knob shaft that splits .should be an easy repair

    get two oven themometers and take the mean avg
    of both,in my experiance aeg ovens tend to read a bit low
