ParticipantNot sure how I missed it, sorry. 🙁
I was looking at EBACs but at the time they had nothing in stock, so I just took my van to nearest Costco and bought whatever they had in there. It was a Samsung something, which happened to be the last SKU in the warehouse and therefore it was heavily discounted. The machine itself is idiotic (‘please connect me to Internet, otherwise I won’t have any programs’) but it washes pretty well and Costco warranties are second to none.
Oh, and it is made in Poland, apparently.July 30, 2021 at 9:08 am in reply to: Whirlpool AWOD 5526 – noises and drum rotation problems #478155Kommunist

ParticipantSaw several Siemens machines at John Lewis today. An interesting thing – the label says “Siemens trademark is used under license”.
Also noticed that there are some Siemens machines only sold through independents and these are called ExtraKlasse and not shown on Siemens website (if I search for user guide it does show up though).
Wondering why is this – I am all for supporting independents but is there any difference in quality?Kommunist
ParticipantThanks Dave,
Are Siemens WMxxN series the same as Bosch WAN?Kommunist
ParticipantRe: Zanussi ZNB4051 strange noises
Understood. Pity that. 🙁
Now, what would a good replacement? I am thinking of LG GBF60NSFZB is it any good?Kommunist
ParticipantRe: Candy FL134WUK – lock removal
Yup, I looked pretty much everywhere but couldn’t find a thing on this.
At the end just followed advice by Roy from IT Crowds – turned it off and on again (at the main electrical switch board).
The oven is now working fine 🙂I’ll give them a call just out of curiosity.

ParticipantRe: Bosch Exxcel SGS46E02 water problem
Thanks again (and again and again… :))
Here’s what I did:
1. Disconnected impeller jug pipe from large transparent thing (heat exchanger?)
2. Opened the inlet access plate and removed the whole assembly.
3. Replaced the device and assembled it all back. There were no PVC clips but rather metal ones so it was much easier to use pliers for it.
The machine is now back to life but after the first cycle there was some water left inside of the washing compartment. It never happened before so not sure if I did something wrong.
Apart from that water thing it seem to work very well.
BTW there was no water in the tray – there was nothing at all apart from very dry and very dead spider. 🙂

ParticipantRe: Bosch Exxcel SGS46E02 water problem
Located the impeller jug but how do I disconnect it? Do I need to remove base tray (if yes then how? I can’t seem to find any way to do so) or is it just a matter of getting long-nosed pliers and wiggle the thing out of pipes?

ParticipantRe: Bosch Exxcel SGS46E02 water problem
Thank you. 🙂
I’ll try to replace the impeller jug this weekend then will monitor machine’s state. Hopefully it’ll come to its senses. If not then I am not sure if it will be easy to fix the leak?
The device is slightly more than 7 years old so not sure if it would make sense to invest much time/money in repair.

ParticipantRe: Bosch Exxcel SGS46E02 water problem
Does that mean I’ll just have to remove water from base tray and it’ll be alright?

ParticipantRe: Bosch Exxcel SGS46E02 water problem
Thank you very mich for reply 🙂
Is this normal that the dishwasher will ignore open door and carry on spinning the pump for a minute or so? Can that be caused by the impeller jug?

ParticipantRe: Choosing new hob and oven
Didn’t know that 🙂
The Logixx is too expensive and got lots of features my Mrs won’t be using, so I am more inclined towards Exxcel or even Classixx (why they so obsessed with double-x these days? :))Kommunist
ParticipantRe: Choosing new hob and oven
Thank you!
I was wondering if these models are “real” Bosch or a rebranded Balay. I guess the only way to find this out is to look at the “made in …” label, right? -
