I’m sure I did see something like that but I can’t recall where or who did it though I’d not be surprised if it was killed off as there’s liable to be very little call for such a thing. And, I suspect not a cheap thing either.

With that level of water hardness, you will need to be careful about dosages; you will need more than normal to offset the hardness.

That just looks like a standard external filter; you can use pretty much any of them to replace it, including the dirt-cheap ones.

That sounds like the anti-condensate line, in warmer weather, there’s heat in there that stops ice from forming and condensation around the doors.
Though I don’t think I’d spend that kind of money on a machine that age.

Thankfully these days there’s not so many of them around, almost no repairers are cowboys now which is a marked change from days of old.

If it tested okay I’d be asking, when does it stop.
Then trying to work out the issue from there as it’s possible it’s something they’re doing.

At the budget, I’m afraid you won’t get anything outstanding, they’re all much of a muchness around that and lower (some higher as well) but if you can, the Bosch machines do tend to perform a bit better.
