KeymasterComes up on Connect but no info on it and no idea if it’s right or wrong.

KeymasterThe jury is out on that and it’s a moot point as consumer pressure for low energy use and pressure from governments to reduce energy use in the round means, it’s a fact of life now and we all just have to live with it.
Running longer will obviously increase wear and tear but, to calculate that and the early demise of machines against potential savings is way more complex than the average Joe in the street would ever consider or, likely want to.
Cold washes, there’s stuff about that in detergent use and bluntly put, I’d never use anything under 40˚C which probably won’t be that these days in a bid to save energy, it’ll be in the 30’s most likely. As, what you see, ain’t what you get.

KeymasterProbably best to read this that I hope explains it for you:

KeymasterIf it is what I think it to be you cannot repair the glasses or get rid of the staining. Explained here:

KeymasterThe model doesn’t really help on these, it’s used for sales only, it’s all about the ART and serial numbers and without those nobody can tell what it is, the layout or what’s in it. So to answer your question on a PCB, not normally but without that vital info I’ve no way to tell you.

KeymasterTo start anyone will need to know what model it is or ART number as explained here:

KeymasterAll I can think on is the light not switching off, a possibility or the aforementioned anti-condensate line.
Prove the light by pressing the switch and see if it goes off, it if doesn’t, there’s your problem.
If it does I wouldn’t be too concerned as all that’s there are the light and a thermostat and aside from stripping that all out to look you can’t go any further but it sounds like a non-problem on the pace of it.

KeymasterIs it cooling at all?

KeymasterNot heard a peep but, if true, there’s gonna be a few unhappy teddies this Christmas. One stand out that will be extremely not happy.

KeymasterI’d need the service number to check but it sounds like the anti-condensate line and if so it’s normal and of no concern.

KeymasterThose sensors were never intended to be replaced, that is why they are like that.
Having to cut the backing off and get that back on etc is not fun at all but, it can be done.

KeymasterIt will not be the small control PCB, loads of people (trade included) have changed that thinking it’d cure this issue and, it doesn’t.
It will, almost with 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certainty, be the fridge thermistor that’s the problem so you need to find that, dig it out, replace it and refoam the cabinet where it came from. To find it, you need to follow the wires, there is no other way.

KeymasterIt is obsolete I’m afraid, no alternatives for it either.

KeymasterThe clock is, in short, a fancy mains switch.
They can be by-passed but, for safety reasons, I can’t explicitly tell you how to do that but, if you have got the knowledge to do so, you have the knowledge to work out from the above and the connections what to do.
