KeymasterRe: Amazon Installations?
I’d leave it, shows we understand.

KeymasterRe: Triple hinge on Integrated Fridge Door
Those look like kitchen cabinet hinges, not appliance ones.

KeymasterRe: Amazon Installations?
That’s known as price fixing and a practice that is illegal under UK and EU legislation with extremely heavy penalties for doing it. Think, the book thrown, deep dark hole and wads of cash in fines.
Whirlpool just got stung with a massive multi-million Euro fine in France for that.
And, as such, it is a conversation that cannot be had here given the nature as I don’t want to be slammed with the accusation of allowing it let alone participating in such discussion.
It is not a thing you want to be doing.

Yeah one problem is that for privacy et all and as they’re encrypted, we don’t think passwords will migrate so everyone might need to reset them. 😕

Turn’s out, we have no options.
The forums will need to be upgraded to move forward… absolutely no option.
Looks like we’re going to move to vBulleting that I know Jim’s used and I don’t think it’s all that hard but, it will be a big change.
We’re testing migration now as this will happen pretty quickly. Probably in the next 2-3 weeks at most I hope.

KeymasterRe: Another Miele washing machine question
More on auto-dosing here:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/buyi … paying-for
And I’m absolutely certain that the Miele marketing spammers were in the comments there trying to make out that this was brilliant, it’s not.
Miele even blows up some of their own propaganda with the advice they give themselves that contradicts what they say.
My advice is also, stay well clear of auto-dosing it may well be beneficial in a commercial setting mostly to stop users doing stupid stuff but, to me and most with any knowledge, it certainly does not in a domestic setting.

It could be helpful if you told all what make and model it was… just saying. 😉

KeymasterRe: Candy CIF120 UK Refrigerator
It is obsolete, that machine was last produced in 1999.
The part number was 91963249.

Sounds like a refrigerant system problem.

KeymasterRe: Miele fridge freezer alarm randomly going off
Send me a photo of the rating plate in the fridge, I need a bunch of info off it to see what it is.
I’ll see if I can find out the fault code meanings.
A word of warning though, it sounds like a sensor problem and there will be at least two or three normally and whilst the fault code will indicate a problem with one of them it may not tell you which it is. After that, it comes down to an educated guess or testing them as best you can.
Parts for them, if you use the Liebherr part numbers, still aren’t exactly cheap in some instances but certainly don’t carry what I like to call “Miele Tax”. 😉

KeymasterRe: Samsung rs 21 fgrs
To be honest, even if you can get one I don’t know that it’s sensible to spend £100 or more on such an old unit that wasn’t exactly a pillar of reliability.

KeymasterRe: Termikel Ceases To Exist?
From what I’ve heard Pete there are no parts for them… period!
That must have stung Minerva as well as they were doing all the service.
