KeymasterRe: Ilve Brittania 964PCMP Oven Selector Replacement
They’re not too bad to get into Dave and the gas lines don’t need disrupted to do so.
But the top does need to come up to get to the switches, yes.

KeymasterRe: Beko fridge water leak
Not easy at all.
It involves stripping out the rear panel and then you should get access, it is not intended to be customer accessible.

I don’t have all the info here but it’s almost for sure one of these three:
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/a03408-o … tor-switch
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/a03411-o … tor-switch
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/a03409-o … tor-switch
They’re easy to tell apart (for a change) even visually.

Check the main oven selector switch for arcing or terminals burnt, you’ve an 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} or higher chance that’s the problem.
I’d need the ART and serial numbers from the rating plate on the oven door opening to tell you what one it is in it if needed.

KeymasterRe: Home made drier
Oh dear God!
I saw that appear the other day and refused to watch it on the grounds it might tip me over the edge.
Turns out I was right.
Let’s make something that gets hot out a bunch of flammable stuff, yeah there’s a great idea. Genius!
On the upside, it might clean the gene pool up a bit so it’s not all bad I guess.

Quite common now, a lot of Hotpoint/Whirlpool etc, Beko, Bosch and more are all doing that.

KeymasterRe: Zanussi Fridge Not Cooling/ Freezer Working fine
Sounds like a compressor issue so, not worth doing anything with most likely.

KeymasterRe: Kenwood FF
If it’s air driven and the air doesn’t flow, it won’t cool correctly, you’ll erratic temperatures at times and perhaps a big block of ice where you can’t see. All in all, not a lot of fun stuff.
I just know that on those units, among others, those cause problems and are common so, worth checking.

On those, the fan motor is a prime suspect. 😉
If you need one, it’s this one:

KeymasterRe: Zanussi Fridge Not Cooling/ Freezer Working fine
It’s a standard unit, nothing fancy so what you describe sounds like a refrigeration system issue of some kind and not a DIY fix.

Anyone will need the model and possibly product code to be able to help you. 😉
