He’s never on here anyway, one of the people we were on about dropping from TWR.

John, can you put together some figures on the new Whirlpool models for me please?

And did you get the fax back about the workwear?

Yeah Jason, that’s really the part of the point of ACH which would allow us to do that without any staff. And do it faster and better.

There’s a lis tof who’s in TWR somewhere in there, I thought it was a sticky post but essentially there’s…

Me, Dave, Kevin H, Kevin Morrissey, youself, Sean, Jonh Mac, Mark, Phil K & D, Alex, Neil Howieson, Martin and Penguin. Not a very big list.

Martin an P45 are of little danger as they don’t talk to anyone beyond these walls and both are okay. There’s not one person in there that I don’t trust, but I want to keep all this stuff kinda quite for now until we’re ready.

    Re: Repairs@ Expansion

Sean, I’m only at the thinking about it stage at this point and also tying it up with some other stuff.

There is a link already with e-jobs/ACH, that was planned from the start. 😉

Hence the statement to think about it.

That’s actually a pretty unrealistic view in all honesty Martin and a little naive on the part of the EU. Never mind, maybe they’ll learn one day eh?

If they stick a £10 cooling fan on an oven the price in store will rise by up to £50 by the time it filters through all the channels, so just think on the effet that £30-50 to dispose at “end of life” will cost. And there’s plenty agencies out there now just waiting to cash in on it too.

    Paul,

I can’t remember exactly what one is in that specific machine but most are a compression type fitting with only one fixing nut on them.

    You read all that then?

Anyway, Valpak are involved in the actual legislative process as it all unfolds as it’s not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} done yet I don’t think.

Martin we was robbed at the last one on that count and I was totally unaware of the uninvited guests till I saw them sat there. It seemed a bit harsh to simply eject them.

It won’t happen again and it’s already been said that the Saturday is repairers only.

We shall also now have a representative from Valpak there to talk us through the implications of the WEEE Directive to us on our businesses too. Should be quite an interesting natter that one. 😉

    Re: e-Jobs

Yeah I know what you mean by it Richard, but the idea here is to raise our game a bit, maybe a selected “quotes” would be the way to go, in conjunction with the forums etc. it really doesn’t take much more I don’t think. Anyway, the forums is the best advert we could possibly have in all honesty as the guys are just brilliant at helping the public, but then that seems to me to be what this trade is, a bunch of guys/gals that just want to help people and if they make a bit in the proccess then all the better.
