KeymasterRe: Defrosting fridge
I’ve merged all three threads to one.
Putting multiple threads for the same issue only serves to confuse and confound as, you cannot read it in one place and many people won’t mess about jumping between posts so, please keep it to one post for one problem.
If it’s thick smooth ice it’s water.
If it’s water in one of those it’s all too possible the insulation has broken down and, there’s really no way to fix that reliably. It can be done but, it’s not heap, not DIY and you’ve a 50/50 chance at best it’ll work.

Dave can still get parts Eddie but, not even remotely close to as cheap as they once were but, not even remotely as much as CDSL will want.
I think AWS has access to them also.

KeymasterRe: Wine Cooler Repair
Nope. Dave is correct I’d think by the sound of it.
It’s probably a dodgy pot as, it’ll probably be a Chinese thing, with a Chinese pot in it so, the math says…

Compressor swap, somewhere North of about £120 I’d think.
Regassing it, depends who does it where but think on about £80 plus.

KeymasterRe: Beko going back in time??!!
This may help to explain it…
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fix- … wash-times
Sounds like it’s trying to sort the load for spin and can’t for some reason, often over or under loading will do that.

KeymasterRe: Strange grey stains on clothes after washing??
To my eyes it does look awfully like ti could be…
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/stai … nditioners
But yes, it could be bubble mix if it leaves any resides as it could attract dirt in the wash or anything similar would have the same effect.
It’s patchy so, it’s something on the garment that’s the cause, what I can’t say 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} for sure but, it is for sure something on there before it goes in the wash. Even if it may not be visible.

KeymasterRe: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers
Yeah but in fairness Beko replaced them a long time ago. In respect to Beko at least.
As to the rest, no idea.
It’s not exactly new for them to pop though but, they have seen to be a bit on the wrong side of dramatic on occasion I’d have to agree.

KeymasterRe: Bosch spinning too fast?
You will need the other two digits from the ENR, it’ll be a “/” followed by two digits.
There’s multiple versions of it.

KeymasterRe: Bosch spinning too fast?
I’m not familiar with that particular machine but they all do the same basic things.
When it fills the water load will adjust dependant on the program selected and the volume of laundry in it as well as the absorption of water by the laundry load. So, it’s never the same twice unless it’s empty.
The water level you “see” may look the same but the actual volume usually will not be. Could be a lot, could be a little.
Therefore on modern machines if you mess with the pressure switch/sensor it usually ends badly. So much as a fraction of a millimetre out on it and it’s usually wrong. But, there should be no call to touch that ever as they are preset for that tank , sump, and all the rest.
And, it has zero effect on the ability of the motor to turn. Absolutely none whatsoever.
It sounds a motor related issue that you had or have.
I can’t see why you’d think the control module would be faulty, it wouldn’t generate the issue you’re seeing. Or at least, I’ve never heard that fault description ever being module related as if it were the board you’d expect no motor action and an error code or the machine halting and aborting the program.

First thing would be to check the heater and thermostats, which all come as one on that machine as it’s this one:
