    Re: Oven fan continually running

if it’s the oven fan motor the selector switch would be the first thing to look at, 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} chance that it’s arced and got a constant live.

    Re: Oven fan continually running

    Correct.

You have two fan motors, the cooling fan and the oven fan motor.

Cooling fan cools the space around the cavity, oven fan motor circulates the air within the cavity.

The oven fan motor should run continually whilst in a fan oven or fan grilling mode.

    Re: Oven fan continually running

The small thermostats there control the cooling fan, switching it on or off as required.

You can get the general gist of how they operate from the following:

    Re: Oven fan continually running

I suspect that you will be correct and it’ll be the switch, the only other thing to check first is the fan initiation thermostat which, if locked on would do the same I think.

    The switch is this one:

The thermostat one of these two:

Dave’s on the case with it and it does look as if there’s been an error but, he’s checking it.

If there’s a drain hole at the back for the water to run out of, it’s probably blocked.

    Hi Yurtsen,

    I hadn’t seen this thread.

Here’s the problems with parts encapsulated as much as we could…

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/spar … as-the-old

Generally the advice is, do not rely on images alone and even sizing info on some can be changed. This is at times completely random and completely outwith anyone’s control most often. We and all other suppliers are rarely if ever advised of any change, the only way we’d know most of the time is if it was glaringly obvious or someone opened up every spare part and checked it every time which is completely impractical to do.

This is one of the reasons that manufacturers use their own part numbers and not that of the actual producer of the component as, they can and do change.

    Re: Zanussi fridge freezer connection

Well, we can a bit as it’s pretty easy with this nugget…

You have a live, a neutral and an earth on the cable.

If you look at the connection block those are marked L, N and an earth symbol.

No more complex than wiring a plug. Probably easier.

If it goes bang at that, your friends really didn’t like you. 😉

Re: Hotpoint BU62 Grill Wont Work

It’s probably just the grill elements or one of them that’s gone.

    Cheap ones are available here:

    http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/cr1413-c … ll-element

It could be a problem with the grill regulator but, from what you describe I’d expect the grill elements are the more likely issue.

    Pretty much I’m afraid, yes.

Normally to replace a compressor, depending on what it is and so forth will run £150-£350 on a domestic machine, for that it’d be the lower end of that but probably not worth doing in my opinion from an economic standpoint.

    Re: BEKO CA70155FFS1 Freezing Problem

Nop, compressor replacement cannot be DIY’d.

You need special tools, gas and equipment of that.
