KeymasterMost people will change both to be sure.

KeymasterIt runs from the fridge fan at the back to the freezer, no drawings of it sorry.

KeymasterSounds like you may have a blockage in the air channel then.

KeymasterI don’t think it’s new. I think it was made till about 2015/16 but I’d need the full serial number to be able to confirm that for you.
The fridge draws cold air from the freezer so there is a freezer evaporator motor but that won’t be the problem is the freezer is getting down to an average of -18˚C, you need to check it is with a reasonably good thermometer. That is the first thing to establish as if that’s not getting down to temp the fridge will never run on most.
Next your into thermistors and the fridge fan motor as if the thermistor is iffy it won’t bring on the fan motor. IF it does but the fan motor is kaput, same result… no cooling in the fridge.
There’s not a simple answer, only a lot of testing.

KeymasterI’d defrost it completely and restart it, try to work out why there’s ice in there.

KeymasterSounds like the compressor is on the ay out and, after 20 years that’s no great surprise. That being the case, if you did want to repair it it’d cost a small fortune as that will be using R12 or R134a so will be difficult to repair.

KeymasterI’d be looking at the damper then in that case as I suspect that’s your problem.

KeymasterNo because the room booking system has had issues, it’s here: https://booking.hotelrez.co.uk/?hotel=69432
But we’re awaiting the discount codes etc for that and it has been flaky but they are on the case, soon as it’s fixed we’ll get that out.

KeymasterIt sounds, though I obviously am guessing a bit based on the described symptoms, that it may be the damper that’s fault or sticking. It’s pulling cold air from the freezer to cool the fridge by way of a damper assembly at the back of the fridge, top.
Have you defrosted the unit at all?

KeymasterIn an ideal world, I’d agree.
It’s not an ideal world.
I’d have to balance the benefit, which to some customers it will be seen that way, against the loons that will demand you replace the machine or give them a complete refund for some, with compensation for the mental trauma or whatever they dream up. 😉
And as the can’t get WP or WP tell then to bog off… guess what!

Keymaster688971570 and 688971869 are both obsolete.
Neither is used in that model but the model’s not quite right.
What is it that’s needed and can you check the model but if it is a gas pipe and the cooker is from 1998 or before it is likely to be obsolete.

KeymasterShort answer, no.
Long answer, even if it were possible the parts to do so will be obsolete.
