Is that made in Britain by forming a few metal sheets from an Asian steelworks on an assembly line of components sourced from outside the UK, staffed by mix of Asian and East European staff.
Not that it matters to me, quality has more to do with the brands market placement than its build location.
But there are fools out there that believe Made in the UK somehow indemnifies them.

Some should also beware that Jaime has a number of engineers that may or not be qualified to carry out work on appliances in a domestic situation.
On a seperate thread he openly asks about training and admits he struggles to repair the volume of work he gets from NAC.
Whilst we as an industry are constantly learning, something i’ve posted & banged on about many times, there is a responsibility to ensure staff are capable of carrying out the job safely.
Being an electrican does not soley prevent a cock up and any business failing to fix products correctly increases the chances that someone is going to get a visit.;-)
Aide has a responsibility to both NAC and its clients to ensure the businesses they recommend or pass work to are up to a required level of competence.
From what i’ve read here and passed on to others both Jaime and Aide may well be visited, there certainly been made aware of.

As for both drdill and lee8, asides from thank you both for the kind words, both of them and I have locked horns on a number of occasions but, do not make the mistake of us having a disagreement and peeing each other off for a rift. That’s just the way it is, we don’t see eye to eye and we get all up in each other’s faces on occasion. Our opinions differ and there’s no bones made about that but, it isn’t personal.
The nail just hit the head square on.
Even though K and the others are wrong most of the time we all share a common bond.
We get our hands dirty and get paid a fair days pay for a fair days work.
Unlike some who believe charging people for doin nothing is an act of heroism to be applauded and will improve our industry.
I know for a fact that clients are happy to pay a fee for the work we do, there not so happy to pay extra to people such as NAC.
Chancers have a pattern, they flit from on enterprise to another hoping one day to hit it big.
Takes a lot more than an idea, you also need brains, determination, patience, humility.
It also helps not to piss of or threaten people you don’t know in the industry your trying to succeed in, they may have bigger teeth than your ego and you my well soon realise that your current failed venture may have suceeded had it not hit some bad luck.

I wonder if ade got his advice from his lawyer.
I use the name ade as to be liabulususus you have to use a persons name, in full, sudomumusses etc are not identifiable to the general publico and therefore not liablus.
Also a closed forum has limited access and therefore a libel action attempt is likely to cause any solicitor to fall about laughing if you tried.
As for Ken, being the owner of the site, that stupid and pathetic attempt at damaging kens intergrity is another matter and would warrant an action, in my opinion.
But then again judges can appear sometimes to be less aggressive in there punishment of retards.:lol:
