I just searched for you adrian as Washing Machines South Wales, 1st was the usually 0800 and repaircare, then these guys.
There near you and charge £10-15.00 call out charge, this is why I hate the Internet for business, yes its great to advertise, its also great for the competition and I hate competition. 👿

There is a lot of Networking going on for sure and it is a way to contact peeps, although it would be worth asking people what they use to look for an engineer, I doubt Facebook would at this time be high in the list, in future maybe.
On Radio 2 today they discussed Facebook as a tool and there seems to be a shift in popularity, it is slowly becoming less “In” and appearing to be for less intelligent people interested only in showing off there great life, which isn’t always true, less of a tool rather more only used by tools.
I would place more faith in Twitter, Bebo, but that too may shift for something new and improved.

Most of my comments are tongue in cheek. :rolls:
I wasn’t aiming anything at you Martin, although I cannot help smiling at the simple solution offered by others that you failed to mention or try.
I guess like me Martin you tend to place your head too far above the parapit, which then leds to other lesser mortals to enjoy the feeding frenze of shame at our less than perfect ability.
Or we should just accept that we are not gifted,we’re just as thick as everyone else. 😆

We live in a world with people who have a wealth of knowledge, not really its a world that people believe they posses more than they actually do and then make judgements based on that lack of knowledge.
Their are many experts, we don’t have to put up with them, for me wasting an hour trying to solve the impossible would indicate it was possible to resolve, spend so much time only then to argue its impossible is, for me, daft.
Its made harder by the fact the unit was fine for such a long period, and after all in the clients eyes if the fitter managed it why didn’t you.
But we know why, as we’ve come across this many times, so its important to remember what others have written previously, that informing of situations before or just after they occur is far more plausable than wasting time doing the impossible.
All intergrated appliances should be placed on the same tiles that we walk on, that there pipes and surrounding furniture be in good condition and accesible as per the fitting requirements, if there not then trouble is coming.

It could be worse Martin, you not married to her, imagine coming home to that. 😆
Today I was goin down a narrowish street in my van and just passed the house i need, so I stop, indicated to park, looked into my mirror and there is a car behind, not to close, so I go into reverse, waited 10 seconds, the car didn’t move backwards, nobody behind her, no drama for her to move.
The street is one way system and too narrow for her to pass me, so I decided to move backwards, hoping she’d engage brain and move back to allow me some space.
Not a fcuk chance she stays as still as a cock in a convent.
So I manage to get into the space, as she passes she decides to shout at me, called me a prick and drove off, lovely to which I placed my middle finger out the window, she stops and waves a gester with the wrist.
To which a placed my finger back at her, she then drove off shouting abuse. :rolls:
Some people.
Enough to make you want to be gay.

ParticipantRe: scottish notes
They are legal currency, but illegal tender in England & Wales.
Its complicated, but basically anybody has the right to refuse any form of tender for payment, so you cannot force a shop etc to accept them for payment.
Basically.

They may well be, I haven’t worked in Europe for a few yrs now.
Having some knowledge of Spaniards, it’ll take some serious PR and offers to get them parting with there money, they still refuse to pay for repairs with anything other than cash, they don’t trust cards, the employees or the banks, so I doubt they’ll pay an insurance for an appliance that may or may not fail.
Its the only time I’ve ever done a repair for less than 80 Euros and get offered a Bin Laden (500 Euro note named after Bin for its lack of public appearance).Like I earned enough to half 400 odd euros in change. :rolls:
