Re: zanussi washing machine ZWF16581W FAULT CODE EF2

took all hoses off, all clear and filter clear as well, no fault found. could it be a board issue? not familliar with modern day zanussi’s. we’re mainly trapped in hotpoint/indesit,bosch warranty work.

    thanks again

    Re: hobart dishwasher chf 40

if this is one of the new hobart dishwashers, the dishwasher will not work unless the filter and cover is in place in the tub. there is a magnet in filter cover to activate the reed switch, check incase the magnet has fallen out or is missing? good luck. cheers.

Re: Zanussie ZWX1605W stops during wash and rinses

Check pump by substituition if reqd as have just done so on ZWX1606W. Pump was failing intermittently during wash/rinse. Couldnt seem to catch it in the act but finally did. On bench would fail to start three out of every ten times.

Thanks for the replies. Will take an 8uf along.

When it stops the timer can still be heard ticking away so mains supply problem was eliminated early on before the substitutions. Should have said that 😳
Was convinced this was relay fault. Its a vented job this one.

    Thanks again

Re: Indesit Domed Torx Pulley Bolts

whack the bolt a few times with a mallet, ensure the there is no movement in the pulley after locking it, remove with an impact T40 bit, works a charm. no fuss

ps. dont weaken your bit by over stressing it when tightening the bolt back up again!

Re: Servis caress 1300 – M3103A washine machine no fill, no

you have not indicated any motor action. on some servis machines, the drum agitates as it fills and if the motor goes open circuit you will get the problem you are describing. go for option 1, get a proffessional in for an inspection, ensure you ask for a quote first tho!!! cheers

Thanks BobHope. Will let you know the outcome.

Bigsmoke: Yes you are right. It is the Rotor not the Pulley.
