    Re: More New Faulty Elements

Many suppliers are bringing in elements in from the far east from factories that have never ever been visited and very often with names that they can’t pronounce!!

The results are very often, fan oven elements being sold from £2.50 upwards and a failure rate that is second to none.

An element does have a shelf life, and it is wise to check them as a matter of course before you fit one as they do get damp sitting on shelves.

Last year, we became the EGO distributor to the domestic market for the UK. EGO as you know supply the majority of the switchgear for cookers and are Europe largest element producer by a long way.

Quality is second to none, drawings are issued for each component and you would be amazed to see just how many popular elements they manufacture.

Go to http://www.homespare.com , register, and when you get your password just type in the keyword EGO and you will be able to see which elements are available.

You would not believe, the length of time they could guarantee an element for!! And before you ask I’m not going to tell you. Just take my word for it.

    Re: Dyson to sue Miele

Depending on which tests are used. The new paper bags which are in production today under the MICROPOR POWER FILTER banner are 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} more efficient than a standard paper bag at filtering out the fine particles of dust which actually cause problems to the respiratory tract.

The bags are actually rated to Hepa 10 standard, which incidentally, is higher than many cleaner, not bag, available on the market with supposed Hepa filtration. There is absolutely no compulsion on behalf of the manufacture to state what level of HEPA the cleaner actually is. We believe that there should be, as all the air leaks on a cleaner should be sealed to ensure true hepa status.

MICROPOR paper bags last about 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} longer than a standard dust bag and due to a patented material have special filtration which stops the bag from blocking, which in turns puts less pressure on the motor and has a significant effect on the performance of the vacuum cleaner as suction does not decline as with a standard paper bag.

I have seen recently, claims made that bagless cleaners do not lose suction. But these cleaners generally all have filters which block because the owners do not follow instructions to actually replace them or clean them. Make your own mind up!

The true facts of bagged v bagless have got to come out, and I welcome the time when this happens, but spending a night in ‘washing my filters’ or ‘washing my permanent ‘lifetime’ bag’ really is a step back in time and when this is backed up by allergy approval societies, it really does make you think.

The truth is a funny thing, statements are often made which are true which don’t mention something that could prove relevent and which may affect the original statement.

There are pro’s and con’s for both bagged and bagless cleaners and maybe the loss of suction arguement put forward, by Dyson, has spurred paper bag manufacturers in to developing new materials that can really benefit the consumer, but in the end the courts will decide and the barristers will be happy and as for Dyson and Miele, the consumer will make their own mind up through product purchase and repurchase.

MICROPOR bags are available now from http://www.homespare.com

For any further information on Micropor bags, or indeed samples then please email sales@homespare.com and we will sort you out. All we need is the make and model number of your vacuum cleaner.

Just follow the Swirl paper bags link once you are logged in.

    Re: Wot, no Handling Charge!

Phil, has our apologies and a credit has been issued.

The whole purpose of http://www.homespare.com is to be completely engineer friendly.

For customers who wish to buy on the web, there is NO HANDLING CHARGE, and NO MINIMUM ORDER, we only charge postage and packing which starts from £1.35 depending on what you buy.

Once you reach £50, then we will supply everything carriage free.

Once again, I am sorry that Phil has had this experience, but this concept is at a very early stage for us and mistakes will be made (as in this case), but the end product will be worth waiting for, and as long as we get the opportunity, we will always endeavour to put things right.
