Thank you for your kind comments Martin.

We are continually looking to upgrade the site and by no means is it finished.

I hope it will prove useful for the trade members of UK Whitegoods.

    Re: Bosch brush beware!

Interesting comments indeed. Basically there is a problem with which brush you buy. To look at the brushes, they appear identical to the AEG?FHP brush which goes into the type R and Type L holders with a 4.8mm terminal. However, the terminals are slightly different.

We stock this line under our reference Part No.9991. It is indeed the brush that is supplied to the OEM by the manufacturer and is indeed the correct carbon compound as a laminated/sandwich brush is required and we export this brush all over Europe.

It is interesting reading your comments about carbons on this forum as there does seem to be a lot of confusion.

Once again, I suggest that you check out the carbon section on http://www.homespare.com because this is the only place that you will not get short changed. Where a laminated brush is required, this is what you will get.

Solid brushes are simply not up to the job. You have been warned!

    Re: Tricity element

You may find this element has been discontinued by everybody. Was only manufactured by Backer, until they decided to increase the prices last year and we didn’t think that anyone would want to pay such a price for such an old element. Was our reference Part number 5526.

    Re: Zanussi carbons

Noted Phil’s comments about the spade connectors. These connectors allow the brush to be used with 2.8mm connections, 4.8mm connections and 6.3mm connections and have been approved by 2 of the world largest appliance manufacturers for use in there service so we know that they don’t present a great deal of problems!!!! Also like to correct that he actually only purchased 25 sets rather than the 50 that he states, but he did get them for a very good price. A lot more competitively than some other suppliers already mentioned.

If anybody would like a sample then please email sales@homespare.com

This offer is only open till Friday and is limited to one set per customer.

As well as this offer, I would also like to point out that Hoover Performa Carbons, Part number 9859 are currently on offer at £4.25 a pair! Check them out on the website!

Re: Hoover Quattro AS110 Carbon Brushes

Still a lot of debate over carbon brushes. All the carbons you need are on http://www.homespare.com , the only thing is that you will have to register!!

As the saying goes, You can only take the horse to the water………

All our carbons (unless specified) in holders are sandwich/laminated, meaning, a much better quality!!!

Check it out, add CAR89 in to the search or any other number like it and the right carbon will appear. Magic!!!

I wonder which website the new Connect site is modelled on?
