Agreed, Dave. There’s been issues in the past with supposed “upgrades” causing a fire safety nightmare, brings back memories to the 747 which burnt due to the in flight entertainment system which was fitted.

The cladding, surely, should be tested for flammability?

Did it contain any of your personal details, such as your name etc?

Some info on the VM site: http://netreport.virginmedia.com/netreport/

Oh god, this North American expression is catching on. Kwatt uses it all the time and at first I thought it was some Scottish speak but the twits on Twitter use it a lot and even on the old duffer network (Facebook) it is gaining popularity.

My bad I guess :clown: 😉

    P. S. I cannot however use the term ‘goosed’ as that term is normally used by ????’s in this part of the UK.

    It’s not a phrase I’d normally use, and I don’t use Twitter!

No idea what came over me!

Interesting to see where this ends

Yeah, that never crossed my mind when I found the link last night!

Interested to see what’s coming though, and more to the point, when.

    Just seen this:

It’s probably already been posted, but seems like it was a good way for them to get into the refrigeration market.

    Re: YOUVE GOTTA LAUGH ?

In my experience, one of the main reasons some of these people have their nice houses and cars, is because they cut costs wherever possible on “essential” items, white goods etc and blow the rest on luxuries!

I’ve not posted on here in a while but I’ve been following this from the start.

It (to me) seems absolutely ridiculous that ANYONE would believe what’s going on here?

Although, I do find it entertaining to watch!

I believe this is one of the Haier models, probably not worth repairing.

Have you tried cleaning the connections on the fascia panel?

    Re: Hotpoint TL51A Vented Dryer.

Jim, the spring should have a couple of ‘lugs’ on it that go into the plastic, can see where these have broken off judging by the pics on eSpares.

    Yeah, replied to the email.

    Thanks,

    Dan
