ParticipantMore than likely, unfortunately.
…and have the same experience in another couple of years!

some shop mode get cancelled after power turned off

Yeah she’s tried that. Tried the various fixes I’ve sent too.
New timer it is, but I suspect she’ll try and get a new cooker delivered tomorrow in time for Christmas.

ParticipantCheers Dave, obviously she’s wanting it sorting for Christmas and I’m away at the moment.
Seems like it’s a standard Vestel timer used on their integrated ovens. Looks to be the same as Servis branded, just this time free standing. No procedure in their service manual either!

ParticipantSpoken to the customer, definitely displaying “SHOP” on the display – hob still works.
Asked for the serial number but not forthcoming. Obviously, the Bush/Argos helpline has been a waste of time.

ParticipantGot room for a WiFi smart plug behind there? Something like a Tapo P100/P105?

ParticipantI’ve always quite liked Ebac as a brand but their focus on hot fill did agitate me a bit, pitching to an older demographic by the looks of it.
Interesting that they now offer more cold fill only machines than hot.

ParticipantHad them out today, it was the door lock recall.
Fortunately being DEA602, this wasn’t affected.

dont know if thats what the recall was about
even though i think your model is later its still pinned to it on the tech site
Dave
Actually, just asked the old man for a photo of the rating plate. It’s a DEA602 machine so not affected by this.
Whirlpool are adamant it’s a recalled machine, though.

Cheers Dave, that covers this machine.
T shaped hole, same commercial code and serial number in range.
macmini
ParticipantYeah that’s all I could find too unfortunately.
Seems strange that they will happily replace the washing machines and tumble dryers but not the dishwashers.
Hopefully we’ve got a Whirlpool tech on here that can answer.
Thanks.

ParticipantSorry, IDF125UK.

ParticipantAfter looking at the PCB, I found a bulging electrolytic cap and replaced that, worked fine.
Had another call today though, the machine won’t start.
Select a programme, press start, door locks than nothing. Sits dead.
Door locked LED lit.
Any test programme on this, or any documentation out there?
Cheers.

ParticipantRe: Hoover OPHS 712B
Ah damn, cheers.

ParticipantRe: appliance fires
Certainly looks to be the PCB.
