    Re: Increasing water intake

    😆

Ok thanks for the info. the machine has been though several boil washes to clean it out of any powder hiding in the cracks and crevaces so I dont want to add any more because its quite toxic to fish. The filters are difering grades of foam and do hold quite a bit of water. I might just cheet and add extra water via the draw with a hose conected to the tap.

try lubricating the ruber with a small amount of olive oil. The same thing sometimes happens on Caravan water filters & toilet rubbers when they are not in use for extended times.

No the weight is at the top and round the front of the drum. the motor is at the bottom.

I paid about 8 quid for it and it’s available from ‘your independant builders merchant’ … for me that was City Electrical Factors. Apparently you should also use their solvent for ‘tooling off’ .. being as it sticks to wet fingers ..!

But if you give the distributors a call I’m sure they will tell you:

    Email: info@ctechuk.co.uk
    Telephone: 01842 828230

    No connection etc.

    All the best ..

Hay thats a lot less than I expected 😀

Would be great for caravan/motorhome repaires

    Re: Old Creda needs replacing

Well the day finally came, the creda is a dead duck 😥 well almost. We knew the day had finally come when turning up ther TV and shutting all the doors did not drownd out the noise of the motor bearings or the noise of the drum trying to leave the machine. The cat standing staring at it with arched back and tail looking like a bottle brush was a give away aswell. :rolls:

We have placed an order for a Beko WMA642W

We are paying £25 extra by gettting it from a mail order company but we have it on buy now pay next April and then its on 52 weeks interest free 😛

The Creda is going in the shed to replace the even older Bendix compact, used for washing the filters from the fish pond, the old bendix will be stored in the other shed for when the Creda dances its last dance. at least I will be able to fit all the filters into the Creda in one go.
