regardless of what was on at the time it tripped it will probably be one of the elements, a mega test is needed to find out the problem.

check gauze sump filter for greasy film on it or check for proper air gap on outlet hose connection to trap/sink. Also i have seen a low insulation reading on wash pump cause this before

Re: whirlpool dishwasher F2 fault code

f2 is water present in the base tray, remove bottom cover and have a peep in to base to see if its leaking from anywhere, make sure you disconnect it from the electricity first!

the pcb/swithes is normally the culprit on these or sometimes the lampholders. Check to see if there are any of these parts have blown(looking for black carbon blow marks). ***Make sure that it is unpugged/disconnected from electricity first!***

Re: diplomat dishwasher adp8101 water staying cold

there is a thermostat reset button on these which is probably the cause. If you remove the right hand side panel you will see the red button on thermostat at bottom of dishwasher, I must emphasise make 100 percent sure that the dishwasher is unplugged/disconnected first.

    Re: whirlpool dwf417

that would suggest that its one flash then(f1) flash pause flash pause e.t.c.
f1 is the fault code for a faulty thermistor

    Re: whirlpool dwf417

you need to cound the number of flashes that you are getting and that will be a fault code. Don’t assume that the lite is just flashing there sould be a pause in the flashes so then count them from there
