    Re: The 0800 Thread

    Hi guys.

Well said jackal. And I totally agree that the highest bidder should not be offered a skilled required business. The rumour is that franchises are no longer offered to anyone who hasn’t had a history in domestic appliance repairs.

Thank you funkyboogy for not slandering my good name ha ha.

Good and bad engineers in every company. Can I have the post code of that job Bagman.

I’ll have it investigated as if what you say is true that is not acceptable.

    Re: Quinto

The new Tsm role incorporates the old role and the network directors. So effectively splotting the roles 3 ways. Although the north Tsm hasn’t been filled yet.

    Re: Quinto

Pg was network service manager, Quinto was technical manager and Ms Bateman was well not really sure what she did.

As of now Neil is the technical service manager for the midlands, PG is for the south and the north is vacant at this time. The roles are not office based like Quinto was.

Now that there is no office based technical manager and no network service director the two roles have been joined and split into 3 regional managers.

So I conclude that Quinto’s office based role as been made redundant and now split into 3 regional manager role. Prior to this I when needed would contact Quinto for technical assistance and PG when it related to any other issues. Now it all goes through the respective regional manager.

    Re: Quinto

Neil has not taken over from Quinto, Quinto’s role was made redundant and a team put in place.

I’m also very certain that those who Quinto wanted to stay in touch with he has. I know for a fact he didn’t take kindly to having his name dragged up on here some months ago.

I too have both his business and personal number.

    Re: Indesit Franchise

These are worse rates then when I was there. Plus your never see a charable £25 job as they sell a d+g warranty to the customer before booking a call.
In my experience it’s not a real franchise and they also stop you repairing hotpoint/indesit machines sourced by yourself.

    Re: The 0800 Thread

New Internet disclosure laws may shake things up on here a tad.

Anyway I’ve been in this trade for 16 years and worked for indesit and hotpoint, mfi, Servis and gbdar. Been in this franchise for nearly 3 years. What is there to learn???

    Hi whirl.

Thanks for your concern there was me thinking the thread had died.

No you are mistaken I am still very much a franchise for the biggest independent domestic appliances repairers in the uk.

People move on people come back people die its the way of the world I’m affraid.

One is for sure I’m still here and I still haven’t learnt how to keep my mouth shut yet.

    Onwards and upwards

    Re: Most outrageous.

Scum bags. I had a similar story a few years back with a disabled guy. I rang the installer up and told him I was going to take pictures of the shoddy work. I eventually got his money back for him. The install was also left with a drop every time the machine drained

    Re: The 0800 Thread

Sorry I was referring to the people that need to know the answers. If you need to ask who, then I must assume that you do not work for Jtm. Every Jtm agent as a point of contact. My self I have all 5 directors mobiles and office numbers all very approachable .

My point is this. Throwing around rumours on here helps no one and just fans the flames

Anyway I think kwatt as answered the concerns perfectly and I can confirm that I have been told the exact same from the directors.

I have nothing more to say on this.
