Re: Bosch SGS09A02GB/11 Logixx noisy pump/loss of pressure

i would be tempted to use a finish dishwasher cleaner to flush out the pipes the motors usually dont work or work but i have stripped them down to find a load of pips in the impellor that stops the pressure if this appliance leaks it wouldnt leak on the floor it goes into the plastic base try the cleaner as a first and then get back to me if you have a problem

Re: Bosch SGS09A02GB/11 Logixx noisy pump/loss of pressure

hi there from your describtion it sounds like it could be one of a couple of possible faults i cant be certain but il try me best to help:-

fault 1: if the appliance does not fill up with enough water the pressure is weak on the wash this can be due to a faulty dump valve which is located in the left hand side when looking at it from the front.
to test this you will need a multimeter it should read about 4 ohms.

fault 2:-the spray arms could be blocked with bits of food this is quite common and easily fixed unscrew the top arm and pull off the lower arm run them under the tap and swish the water back and forth basically your just trying to dislodge any crap thats in there some tims you can see the bits sticking out the holes in the arms before you even remove them.

fault 3:- if this appliance leaks it will fill the base causing it to pump all the water out but it will carry on washing with no water in there it could take 1 hour or 5 washs to fill the base depending how bad the leak is ( i dont think this will be the fault)

another thing to check is when looking at the dump valve also look at the pressure chamber you will know this if you see the surrounding microswitches these can also block and so can the hose that follows this
hope this helps please feel free to ask or info me of your progress
